Here are a few seventh grade students observing a stream table. About 6 out of twenty, are standing around our stream table observing erosion and deposition due to water. A couple of them got to test the effect of a slope on a stream while two others tested different volumes of water. Two students got to clean the table and two others got to organize the stream table before testing the independence variables. Everyone wanted to test the independence variables, but there's only 1 model and many students!
