This laptop would allow me a higher quality for teaching. A newer device would allow me to have fewer technical issues, a better Wi-Fi connection, and the opportunity to create quality lessons and materials. Direct instruction is given virtually by sharing my screen. I will be able to more fluidly check student progress and assignments while working to offer feedback and place students in breakout rooms for small group instruction. The quality and speed will increase my ability to provide a more functional learning environment. I teach only virtual students this year. When I am having technical issues, it directly affects them. While they are extremely patient and understanding, it disrupts the flow of the learning. Also, given the times we are in, all meetings are held virtually, including meetings to improve our Social Emotional Learning curriculum and meetings regarding student needs and supports. It would have various benefits and make such a difference in the planning and delivery of instruction.
