As our girls grow older, we work to educate them about their developing bodies so that they can confidently understand the changes happening in their bodies as they go through puberty. Our goal is to give them a safe, non-judgmental place as they grow to procure the supplies they may need to handle their basic needs. We are working to build a personal care closet with menstrual supplies, wipes, underwear, leggings, and uniform pants for our girls who may need them during school hours, or for girls who may otherwise lack access to necessary hygiene supplies. With this project, we will begin to build our personal care closet. We have requested underwear, leggings, and personal wipes to help our girls confidently navigate puberty. If they find themselves in need of new clothing or personal wipes during the school day, they can confidentially visit the care closet to get the supplies that they need.
