This Bluetooth switch and switch interface will allow students with physical disabilities to access the computer and iPad to learn and communicate. It allows them to participate in activities that their peers are participating in. This allows them to play games, learn, and use speech generating software all while independently pushing the buttons on the switch. Many non-verbal students rely on others to communicate with them. These switches will allow students to access programs that provide a voice. They can make their own choices and express their own thoughts using applications on the iPad or computer. It will decrease frustration caused by not being understood and allow my students to be more independent.
