Having the tablets and Sphero robots will allow my students to have access to technology that they love. We used these robots at a recent field trip called Starbase. It is a week of science, and the students absolutely loved it. I want to bring that excitement to my classroom. Also, my students are from military families and they travel all over the United States and the world. They will be able to take their technical knowledge with them. We will be able to work on coding, geometry, teamwork, and have FUN! I know that when students get hands-on experiences they retain the knowledge more intensely than listening to a lecture. I truly want my students to be experienced with technology in a world where they will have jobs in the future that are not even created at this time.
