My little heroes have many disabilities; speech, fine motor, visual, and sensory overstimulation, among others. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, previous iPads were donated to students to ease their remote learning transition. My little heroes need iPads and noise-canceling headphones to facilitate their learning. There are many applications available that help students to write; beginning with tracing with their finger to using a stylus to practice writing. Other applications help students with reading, beginning sounds, daily tasks, communication, and numbers. Noise-canceling headphones block stimulating noise and decreasing sensory overload.
