As we move into a hybrid learning environment, it is crucial to engage the students at home as well as the students in the classroom. My two neediest populations are repeater and ESL environmental science students. It is so important to see what the students are doing on a minute-to-minute basis. This in-the-moment data will empower me to keep these hard working crucial populations from falling behind. Is students' work really complete? I need to look and be able to see while moving around the classroom helping students with questions. An iPad will allow me to do that this year during the hybrid learning model and in future semesters to make for an engaged, seamless learning environment, no matter what the world throws our way.
