As a first year ELA teacher, I was dismayed to find that a majority of my students do not enjoy reading. After some discussion, I realized that most of them just haven't found a good book! My classroom library is severely lacking in books (read: none), so my students do not have much to choose from during independent reading time. In an effort to promote literacy, I want to offer my students engaging and addicting novels. Please help me turn some of these self-proclaimed "book haters" into lifelong book worms!
