Students will be able to have access to individual copies of classic children's novels. This will increase their love for reading and help them grow in their comprehension and analytical skills. Teaching reading through novels is very effective, and opens up a whole new world for many students with limited experiences. I love to read, and I want to create a passion for reading and learning in my students. Novels also allow for opportunities for discussions, which in turn help with social-emotional development in children. When they can see themselves in a character, they can better process and deal with issues in their own lives.

About my class
