I am writing this project for a Seasons All-In-One Dollhouse. At our school, we encourage play in everything we do. We use play to teach and engage our students in everything they do. There is a dollhouse in our block room at our school and my kids love playing with it. We always have many students playing in our kitchen and our block area in our room. A dollhouse would be another area for them to foster that imaginative play that they all love doing. I love hearing their conversations and how they design. Some are very precise and put items exactly where they are supposed to go, while others just put them anywhere. Imaginative play is so important for this age and teaches them a multitude of skills. Children learn to do things like negotiate, consider other students' ideas, help each other find solutions to problems, and listen to each other from imaginative play.
