With the use of these novels, we will be able to enhance our reading comprehension using skills and strategies also while teaching life lessons about diversity and special needs. Our classroom is hybrid. These materials will be used by the students who are remote as well as the students in the classroom. I am using the novels in conjunction with the anthology to enhance the students' motivation to complete novels on their own. My desire is to increase the students' abilities to sustain a longer text than what our curriculum offers.
