In order to plant the seed of a reading routine, we need to introduce a variety of readings so that our students could begin this great practice. After a school year, we could see the results in our students. Hopefully, the readers will be obsessed with the habit of incorporating a novel on regular basis. Through reading on a daily basis, it has been demonstrated that students can increase their high-level thinking which could be help in other courses not only in my class. This also includes high-level thinking in core classes such as math or science when doing word problems. If students, parents, and teachers understand the great benefits students will get from reading a novel, a novel would be introduced in every level and in all classes as part of the curriculum.
