Fitness, drumming and music OH MY! These materials will help improve the health of our ENTIRE school! The Drumtastic, Drums Alive program is evidence-based and coordinates music and physical education. Kinesthetic awareness, muscular skills, pulse, beat, rhythm, flexibility and strength. I feel this program would benefit my students by improving gross and fine motor skills, allowing for opportunities to further develop social skills and importantly have a fun sensory stimulating way to learn! I am so excited to learn this program and find tons of ways to incorporate it into all aspects of my curriculum. I also plan on working this into social skills groups with our classroom buddies for a performance. The drumsticks, exercise balls, and buckets will allow for the perfect equipment to get us started!
