Students have been forced to read books online over this past year and our school library has closed. My classroom library is a place my students love to sit back, relax, and open the pages of a new book! This is a place they can escape and travel every day! All of the students in my classroom are students of color and they enjoy most the books that relate to and empower them. Our current classroom library does not reflect our student body. By upgrading our classroom library with books with characters that reflect the students in my class and books that empower them, I know they will enjoy reading in our classroom library more! Building today's readers and tomorrow's leaders!

About my class
