My students thrive on sensory learning and a light table would be perfect for those needs! A sensory light table is aimed to aid in learning with a variety of textiles (water beads, kinetic sand, translucent shapes and letters). My students thrive on hands-on activities and being able to visually focus on the activity. The light table will do just that! It is small and perfect for my younger students as well. I plan on allowing my students with vision impairment to do their activities and exploration on this light table. I also plan on utilizing this table to create a calm and visually pleasing learning environment for some on my more sensory seeking learners.
