My students are discovering the joy and excitement of reading on their own. These books will allow my students the opportunity to read interesting, entertaining stories that include their favorite characters and topics. Books give a chance to explore new worlds while growing as readers. Books on their level are often short, and can be read quickly. A wide variety of stories will keep their interest, and will increase their reading fluency. The carpet sit spots will keep them socially distanced but able to find a quiet spot to read.
