Having clean air is important for students to engage academically and socially. While in the health office (for any given reason), students can have the opportunity to breathe clean air with an air purifier. In an environment that is subject to dust, pollen, and other allergens on a daily basis, it will be reassuring to know the health office will have clean air when students visit the school nurse. Students with asthma or allergies can come to the office knowing they can breathe in clean air instead of more pollutants, which can cause their symptoms to become worse.
