My current classroom library only has 3 science books. Our school library has some science books but they are outdated and often checked out. When students have finished with their work, I want to provide them with a plethora of fun, interesting and updated science books to read. New and engaging science books to read will make a wonderful reward for students after they have worked diligently on their daily science assignment. As I work toward being a project-based teacher, these books will provide ideas for future science projects. My students are craving fun, science experiments and projects to do at home. The ideas the books generate will travel well beyond the walls of West Middle School.

About my class
