Sensory play is not only fun and interesting but it also gives students the ability to explore and investigate. It is one way for learners to develop and discover the use of their senses. The ability to tell if something is wet or dry, soft or course may be established as well. With the use of water and sand tables, students may develop fine motor skills. Babies and toddlers will have opportunities to discover scientific concepts such as sinking and floating. A vast amount of opportunities will be created for learners with the use of sensory play within the classroom.
