The phonics and math materials will help students practice reading skills and basic multiplication skills to help them achieve grade level in those areas. These fun games in our classroom will be used to help to motivate my students to learn hands-on with a partner or two, instead of just practicing skills on paper. These games are things they will look forward to doing when in our classroom, as they still are in a blended school setting. Each child will receive a pack of crayons and a pair of scissors to go home and ones to keep in their own desk at school. This way they always have access to them whether they are working from home or in our classroom. They will not have to worry about constantly bringing those supplies back and forth between school and home.
