Right now in our classroom, we have a very limited space for our growing library collection. I spend most of my weekends with my three-year-old son thrift store hopping looking for books I think my students will enjoy. Unfortunately, I often have no place to house these books considering I have about a dozen "teacher binders" taking up so much valuable space in our classroom library. In addition to that, I teach a diverse population, some of which have sensory issues, ADD and ADHD. These students often feel incredibly restricted sitting in a traditional desk and chair. I would love to be able to give them an option for seating that fulfills their sensory and academic needs. In short, I simply want my students to have the things that they need to help fulfill their full potential. I believe in them immensely and I know that they deserve it.
