Students will have all the needed materials and supplies to complete their center activities. They will be using the different materials that are in the baskets to complete their work, but they will have a choice of what materials they want to use by having the choice of crayons, colored pencils, or markers to use while practicing writing their letters or high-frequency words. With the students having these different choices to complete lessons, it gives them more ownership and fosters creativity in their work. Who wouldn't be excited to be able to choose a favorite color to write with instead of having to use their old boring number 2 pencil?
