Teaching remotely takes a lot of ingenuity, patience, and multi-tasking! Two screens would allow me to see my students and my lesson plan at the same time. As a technology specialist, in addition to teaching students, I also coach my colleagues about digital tools and strategies. In both circumstances, it is hard to follow a lesson plan or professional development plan when I cannot see who has their hand raised or read the chat thread. It's so important to be able to make eye contact and interact with my students/colleagues while we work together. Additionally, a second monitor would greatly improve productivity in meetings and as I create resources to share with my colleagues to help them learn and grow their own skillset with technology.
