Having an additional screen will help me better engage my students. I can teach, see all of their faces, check for understanding and continue to build those relationships that keep kids in school. I currently teach up to forty students at a time on a small laptop screen. I can’t share my screen with engaging lessons without losing sight of the majority of my students. I just want the opportunity to provide content in engaging ways without losing the connection piece with so many students. Sometimes students have questions and you can see they need help by their expressions, a majority of students don’t feel comfortable un-muting themselves and asking. They count on you to know.
