My school district has decided to return partially to in-person learning after nearly a year of teaching from home due to to the COVID-19 pandemic. While I teach approximately 50% of students in person, I will simultaneously be teaching the other half via Google Meets. A second monitor would allow me to see ALL virtual students' video feeds while I am teaching, allowing me to better engage with and address my remote students on any given day. This hybrid model of teaching will be challenging and could be frustrating to students who are online if I am unable to properly interact with both groups at the same time. A second monitor would allow me to present my lesson to both groups (online and in person) while still being able to interact with the online group using Google Meets.
