When it comes to a student's mental health, self-care can help them manage stress, lower their risk of illness, and increase their energy. Even small acts of self-care in their daily life can have a big impact! Daily self care is important for our students because it allows them to pay attention to their physical and emotional needs. By managing their well-being and overall health, our students can better manage stress and the host of other obligations that they have to juggle. Essentially self care, will allow them to be at their best, maximize their potential, increase their ability to deal with stressors, and improve their quality of life. We want to provide each student in the Success Center an opportunity to have positive self-care. Ultimately, we believe that promoting self-care for each student will lead to a positive impact on their overall mental health.
