These texts will help students engage in reading that interests them. Research shows that the best way to increase literacy skills is to READ. My students have difficulty seeing relevancy in the books that are normally offered to them. As teachers, we are trying to expand our library to increase this relevancy. With these new titles, students should be able to engage with books that look like them, sound like them, and that they can relate to. Thank you for all of your support. The students appreciate your kindness and generosity.
