Have you ever had a student come to class with his Chromebook and it either doesn't work right or is missing something from it causing it not to work? I have that happen to my students here on campus all of the time. I frequently have to hand out loaners to students who forget theirs at home. I am here to beg and plead for some help for those students who come to class to learn but run into snags causing them not to be able to properly. I am requesting and begging for chargers and wireless mice for the students to use if they forget their chargers at home or the mouse pad on them goes out. Our school does not have the funds currently to repair the minor things so we are having to work around what we have. The mouse and keyboard are for the Surface Pro that I use with the students to either take their id pics with or if they need it for testing for the kids with accommodations I lend it out as well. The current yearbook committee has been using an old outdatedPpolaroid camera and sharing it between the drama club and the counselors when they record events making it difficult to do what they need to do for their projects. I am not one to usually reach out and ask for assistance but I believe that in order to fully provide for our students we have to have the tools to do so. Those tools can add up and the school often times cannot afford to do with some of these. I want to thank you in advance for any and all assistance that can be provided, and I know the students thank you as well.
