Scholastic News is a wonderful way for my Title I (low income) students to increase their knowledge with regard to social studies, as we currently do not have a good social studies curriculum or textbooks. I hope to also have them gain prior knowledge and Scholastic News is an engaging format that sparks interest in the subject matter being taught. The paper and digital access will cover the needs of both my face-to-face and virtual students and help round out my social studies lessons in an engaging way!

About my class
