Hula hoops represent a circle that symbolize connectedness. Students need to feel a sense of belonging and connectedness to thrive. If students are not in school, they cannot build the relationships that are needed to foster trust and learning in school. Sharing information with parents and families about the importance of school attendance is critical. Creating attendance awareness and celebrating success is an important part of reaching our goals. Each month, classes will strive to meet daily attendance goals. To reward students for meeting attendance goals, students will earn incentive time and be able to use the hula hoops during this activity.
