Communication is an essential life skill. Many of our students are language delayed or weak in their oral language skills. This tool, the EET strand, provides students with a hands-on cueing system to facilitate their vocabulary building. Students will have a visual, as well as, tactile cue to help them organize their language. Developing students' language skills will provide the base that is essential for success in school and more importantly in life. It is the basis of reading and writing. These 'strands' will be used in general classrooms, special education settings, and during related service therapies (OT, PT, speech). Expanding language will benefit everyone!
