Two screens will allow me to better teach my online students. I can share one screen with content - online books, PowerPoint lessons, word work, etc - and interact with my students in TEAMs meetings. I need to see their facial features as they try to decode words. I can see if they are shaping their mouths correctly and give feedback. I can have them share work with me. I can also make sure they are focused and engaged in learning and not distracted. Teaching students to read is challenging. Teaching online students how to read is even more challenging. Two screens is imperative to do this successfully.
