A second screen will assist me in instruction to let me share my one device while monitoring class engagemet on the second screen. I strive to keep my Kindergarten scholars engaged. It's hard in the virtual setting, with so many home distractions - siblings, pets, and even parents sometimes. A second screen (monitor) will help me deliver my quality instruction while monitoring every student in my virtual class setting. My students log in to start our morning meeting at 8:00 and stay online until 3:00 - that's SEVEN hours of virtual instruction. AND, many if my scholars log back in with me for tutoring two evenings a week to help close the learning gap brought on by the COVID pandemic. My scholars deserve every advantage I can give to them, and a second screen would greatly assist my efforts.
