I am a first year teacher who inspires to have a warm and welcoming classroom where the children are comfortable and feel safe. I have multiple students who need sensory support, so flexible seating and sensory items are a high priority for my classroom. A second monitor will also support me when we are remote learning and presenting things to the class. Because many of my students are visual learners, chart paper is an essential item so that I can make visuals for them related to their learning tasks. Students can also come to my room when they need a break or become overwhelmed in the general education classroom.
