These microscopes will give my students an opportunity to explore life science with a hands-on approach to learning. The first unit of our curriculum really focuses on not only teaching students to use a microscope but being able to look at live organisms and examples of cells. For many students, this is the first time they have the opportunity to view microscopic organisms under a microscope. Providing students with the opportunity to enhance their understanding through hands-on learning is such a key component of their education. My students have shown a great interest in exploration-based labs using microscopes. This project will help to get my students the equipment they need to fuel their learning!
