Last school year, snacks were provided for students. Snacks were disbursed at the end of the day or during the last half of the school day to improve focus. My school low-income/Title I. This means that our families benefit from these snacks for students who do not have the means to get their own. This year, snacks have stopped which means that I have had to supplement those snacks on my own. Some of these students get their only two good meals at school, so snacks really help to supplement where they may be going without. By helping out, you will be sending students home with snacks and full bellies. My students are so grateful for the snacks and I see how much it helps first hand.
