Students will explore the forces and motion by exploring 5 different athletic events. These events include throwing a football, kicking a soccer ball, running a 20 yd dash, pushing a weighted sled, and vertical jumping. By following the scientific method, students will first hypothesize, then explore concepts of force and acceleration. With their findings, they can then understand the science behind sports and activities. Once all data is collected students will then analyze their data, present their findings by creating graphs for each event, and coming up with a conclusion for all students to understand.

About my class
