The materials that I have selected for this program would allow for students to have a richer experience in our world music class. While approximately 20 drums are graciously being provided by the district for the class, I can have upwards of 32 students in my classes! Having access to these instruments will allow ALL students to have hands on experience with varying instruments that have different techniques/skills necessary to play. Having access to these instruments is a luxury that my students do not have on their own. School is the only place that most of my students have access to instruments at all. This enriches not only their music education, but their music experiences overall. Additionally, it enhances their understanding of different cultures and the impact that music has on them. While expensive, this program is enriching to my students lives and futures! I am so excited to see the lasting impact that this program will have on them, with your generous help!
