As a Registered Nurse teaching a Career and Technical Education Health Careers class to low-income high school students, I know what I need to teach them to prepare them for a career in the health care field.
Help me help my students by donating this printer and together we can provide a “more colorful” future for them! You can help them succeed in one of the future’s brightest outlook careers and earn wage sustainable employment!
At current, our textbooks are out of date and their are not enough for all of my students to each have a copy. So I personally prepare all lessons myself using the black and white teacher copier in the basement. A color printer is just what I need to bring Human Anatomy and Health Care education to life! We could also use it for the fund raising we do for our HOSA: Future Health Professionals club so that we can attend State Leadership Conference every year, where we can show off the skills we learn in class for a chance to earn scholarships! People are more likely to give with a colorful flyer! I could upload and send the students clearances so that we can volunteer at the local nursing home for “real-world” experiences and cooperative education experiences. The scanner feature will allow students to upload needed documents for college applications right in my classroom! The possibilities are endless!
