Having the requested materials will further enhance what my students are currently learning in my personal finance class. In class, students will learn about budgeting, ways to save and invest, as well as details regarding check writing, balancing a checkbook ledger, the difference between the various types of monetary instruments (debit cards, credit cards, etc), as well as the difference between a checking account and savings account. Financial literacy is an essential skill that this generation of students greatly needs. It is important to give my students the tools they need to be successful upon graduating from high school. My students will be able to get hands-on experience with calculating payroll, completing timesheets, various tax forms, and much more! I am looking forward to my students growing in their financial literacy skills so they can be ready for the real world!
