To better teach my students in an online format (both during this Covid school year and in future years post-pandemic), purchasing "Boom Cards" will allow students to better develop their musical skills. "Boom Cards" are digital, self-checking, interactive activities. These are "gamified" activities that are motivating and interesting for students that also provide assessment data for teachers in order to measure student achievement and growth. I would like to purchase rhythmic, melodic, note-naming, and music theory "Boom Card" bundle sets through the "Teachers Pay Teachers" website. Purchasing clear music holders to keep sheet music on the music stand (when a windy day doesn't cooperate!) will allow students to play instruments outdoors and effectively when we are unable to rehearse indoors due to Covid restrictions. We will also utilize these clips in the future (post-Covid) for field trip performances, open house performances, and any other outdoor performances.
