I have students who are participating with in-person learning, as well as, students who will be continuing with distance learning. As a part of in-person learning safety protocols, students are expected to stay seated and/or in their own small area for the majority of their day. Students are also not allowed to share materials. My students require fidgets, sensory materials, and flexible seating options to ensure they are able to remain in their area and stay focused for extended periods of time. Students continuing with distance learning need headphones with microphones to ensure that all students online can hear and participate in their lessons. In-person students will be using: -Flexible seating options, fidgets, and sensory materials to assist with their ability to stay in their area and remain focused for extended periods of time -Writing journals to ensure students have their own materials and we are not exchanging paper as often -Bins with lids to keep all of their individual supplies organized and in one space At-home students will be using: -Headphones with microphones to be able to assist with background noise issues and ensure everyone online can hear and participate -White boards, markers, and writing journals to ensure they are able to participate in writing activities online
