During Covid-19, I am beginning to realize that students do not have grade-level reading material at home. The use of computers and web-based academics has limited the number of books at home. Creating a lending library is important to increase interest in reading. Books help kids develop basic language skills and expand their vocabularies. The lending library will assist students with reading fluency and comprehension. Books could also improve the quality of time between parent and child. Most importantly, books take you to places you've never been to before; it will enhance a child's imagination.
