Headphones will allow students to listen closely during class meetings and work privately without distracting others. This is often on of the challenges of learning virtually. My students work independently each morning on various math and reading programs which are interactive and require them to listen to audio prompts or watch videos. Having headphones will make it easier for students to focus and hear the instructions/questions without disturbing others. While students are reading independently, they can use headphones to follow along with an audiobook to build fluency and experience more challenging books.
