Calm Down Corner: The students will benefit from the materials requested for multiple reasons. Not only does the cool down corner allow for a nice quiet place for the students, but it allows them to use the skills taught to them to calm down. The materials requested provide for a comfortable setting for the students, like the tent and bean bag chair. The sensory toys, like the stress balls and art supplies allow for the students to focus on a task to reset their thinking. Another great benefit from the materials requested, would be the noise cancelling headphones. This is great for students with with noise sensitivity and can greatly help with the student clearing their mind.
