These math supplies will be used in conjunction with brain-based research to prove that ALL students can learn, grow, and succeed in math using an open and creative mathematics mindset. Our classrooms encourage the notion that ALL students can be successful math learners and dispel the beliefs that only a lucky few of us are born with "math brains". The math journals will be used for students to record their most creative, colorful and expressive ideas about math using a variety of ways to look at and solve math tasks. The games will be used to teach math in multidimensional ways, and to demonstrate to students that math learning can be and is fun! The math tools and manipulatives will be used to enhance different representations of math learning.
