Technology during these trying times is a must in our world. Without it we are unable to reach the young minds that yearn to learn and grow. This year I am teaching virtually from my home as COVID has shut down our school district. I interact daily with my students via Google Meets and have had to find new and exciting innovative ways to engage my students so that they want to come to class and pay attention. As I discover these new paths to engage my students, I discover more and more that I need to share my screen which leaves me at times without the ability or limited ability to see my students. I am basically teaching to the computer screens presentation. By donating to our classroom, you will allow my students and I the ability to see each other throughout our lessons even when I am presenting on my screen through the use of a second device! This device will allow me the ability interact and help students when they are struggling. Acknowledge their glows and encourage where they need to grow. The use of this iPad can also provide me with the opportunity to implement new and additional programs that I can make available to the kids, help and understand those students with iPads who are struggling with technical issues, and be able to explore and open up endless possibilities that I can make available to my students during this limited time.
