Self Care Kits will include journals, drawing supplies, journal prompts, mindfulness coloring sheets, self-affirmations and stress relief ball. These kits are provided to students experiencing depression related to grief, self esteem, family related issues. Students would receive several self-care activities including a suicide hotline number. These kits would be provided to every student that we complete a suicide risk assessment as part of their self care safety plan as well as to students who are experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one. This kit will allow them to reduce stress and better focus on their schoolwork. Most families in our school community cannot afford these valuable resource.
