This year looks a lot different! We are use to kids being kids and being able to share things and work together. You know, the "normal" way to do things in the classroom. Well, this year with COVID is far from the "norm". We are trying our hardest to be proactive and learn the best way we can.
We are not able to touch other's materials and with that being said, we cannot share things this year.
I am a hands-on teacher and I feel that students learn best by doing. We may not be able to move around the classroom or work in partners, but learning is happening no matter what. With that being said, We are in need of crayons, glue sticks, and copy paper.
With more crayons, glue sticks, and copy paper, I can continue making learning hands on. Even if my kids are at home for reasons due to COVID, I make copies for them to do at home. They watch the lessons at home and do exactly what we are doing in the classroom. It has been a rough year but these smiling faces make it all worth it.
