My students need a way to practice numeracy and literacy concepts without constantly using worksheets and paper/pencil. By using dry erase materials, students can quickly practice, erase, and perfect their own learning. Quick assessments will be much more efficient with the use of these materials. They can "Practice Makes Perfect" quickly and not have to wait long for feedback. I have chosen two boards per student to enhance numeracy and literacy skills. The first board contains a 100-grid on one side and number lines on the other. The second board is magnetic, which will be benefical in making words with magnetic letters. It is blank on one side and has kindergarten appropriate lines on the opposite side. The learning standards that I will be able to address using these materails are plentiful.
